BULBUL HAS HER FIRST SHOT

To day the 24th day of July 2009 a Friday was the day little Bulbul had to have her second dose of DPT and Oral Polio vaccine. Accordingly around 11 AM Vandana and I take her to West Fort hospital. Having registered her name already we wait for our turn in front of the Pediatrecian Dr Viswanath. He sees her and after thorough examination expressess satisfaction at her steady progress. Matron Ammini Amma is also there and sees to it that we are made to feel comfortable in that place. At 1150 Bulbul receives her second 'poke' when the nurse injects the Dpt combination. She howls a little but calms down soon enough. We also give her her second oral Polio vaccine and return home around 12.15. She is a brave one and does not cry much.
